WePickle Pickleball Camp

Pickleball is a fast-growing paddle sport combining tennis, badminton, and table tennis, celebrated for its inclusivity and community focus. WePickle aims to promote the sport by offering an introductory class at First Baptist School, providing students with a fun, structured activity that encourages fitness, social interaction, teamwork, and skill development.

Sports Camps

Keep your K5-8th grader active this summer with our week-long sports camp! We'll play a variety of indoor and outdoor games like football, soccer, and capture the flag. It's a great opportunity for kids to learn teamwork, stay fit, and make new friends in a fun, supportive environment.

Numbers in Nature Camp
June 15-19, 2026

Rising 6th to 10th
This camp brings numbers to life in the great outdoors. Campers will explore hidden patterns and shapes in nature through hands-on activities like geocaching, which involves mapping, measurement, and problem-solving. This camp is perfect for curious minds who love adventure and learning.

Drones & Lemonade Stand STEAM Camp
June 15-19, 2026

Rising K5 to 6th
This week-long camp combines STEM and business skills. Campers will first explore the physics of flight by building and testing their own flying machines, including planes and drones. They will then learn entrepreneurship by creating a business plan, marketing, and running their own lemonade stand for local families.

Chess Camp
June 15-18 (Grades 1-7) & June 22-26, 2026 (Grades K4-K5)

Chess Camp is a super-fun, high-energy chess experience in which kids celebrate a new chess tactic each day with silly videos, music-driven puzzlers for prizes, colorful silicone TactixBands, funny movies, and fast-paced party-bead tournaments!

Football Camp
June 15-17 & July 20-22, 2026

Rising 1st to 5th
Join our Football coaches for a week of fun, develop Football skills, building Teamwork and Sportsmanship and more! Participants will work alongside the First Baptist Varsity Football staff and players to develop essential skills while having fun! This camp will be held on our football field so campers be ready with water and sunscreen for an amazing 3 days!

Cheerleading Clinic

Join our cheer clinics at the James Island Campus gym! Open to rising K5–6th graders, registration includes a t-shirt, snack, and fun cheer activities like jumps and stunts. Pack a lunch and water bottle for an action-packed day!

A great opportunity for current FBS students to refresh their skills and get a head start for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This camp is open to our rising K5–8th graders and will include engaging classes in ELA, Math, STEAM, and P.E.

Boat Building Camp

Rising 6th to 9th
Come join Lowcountry Maritime School instructors and build a 16’ long, flat-bottomed canoe! Students will receive instruction on tool use and basics of wooden boatbuilding. At the end of the week, students will be ready to launch their newly built skiff.

Passport Abroad

The Passport Abroad Camp for rising 4th-9th graders offers a week-long journey into Italian and Spanish life. Campers will gain conversational Italian skills, explore Italian and Hispanic traditions, exploring and tasting food creations, and create lasting memories in a fun, educational, and welcoming environment.
